![]() ![]() Honestly, i think this one is so nicely written, with all of the ribbons of events tying together, the superb details, and a far better ending, i can't help but consider this the better of the Garoul offerings. I'm going to have to go re-read that one, since i'm surprised some people liked that one better. It also has much more of the paranormal aspect to it than Ambereye. You get a couple clues as to what's going on, and suddenly have more questions. I can't even say some of the mysteries you'll be trying to figure out, as they actually develop along the way. You spend the book trying to get to know who Isabelle really is what is her past who is this Ren. Indigo Moon (this book) didn't have as much humor, but there were still some funny moments. Though, with the author's fun and skillful writing, it wouldn't hurt to get all three. It contained people from book 2, but you didn't have to read that at all to enjoy this. This book referred a few times to people we supposedly met in book one, but it didn't hang me up or confuse me that i didn't read book one. ![]() None of these books are dependent upon the others to be read. But i really liked this book and am glad i read it. It seemed too scattered and didn't pull together well for me, with the rushed ending and all. I liked it but not as much as other Gill McKnight books i'd read. ![]() They made it sound like something i didn't like, but i picked up book 2, Ambereye because it was supposedly humorous and much better. I skipped book 1 of this series due to the reviews. ![]()
